Position Overview

 Search Miners is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. The BDR will play a key role in driving the growth of our company by identifying and generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and supporting the sales process. This position will require you to prospect potential clients, introduce them to our services, and book qualified appointments for the sales team to close.
You will work closely with the Sales Team and leadership, but you will not interact directly with clients after setting appointments. This is a remote position, but candidates must be available to work during PST hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Prospect and identify potential clients through research, cold calls, emails, social media outreach, and using an email service(Smartlead or similar) and generation tools (ListKit or similar).
  • Qualification: Qualify inbound leads, assess their needs, and determine if they are a good fit for our services.
  • Cold Calling & Outreach: Comfortable with cold calling and using outreach strategies to engage new prospects. Schedule meetings and demos between potential clients and the sales team to discuss how Search Miners can help them improve their SEO and digital marketing efforts.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and leads in the CRM system, ensuring all communications are logged and tracked.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team by preparing and gathering necessary information for meetings, following up on leads, and providing other support as needed to close deals.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market needs, and competitor activity to effectively communicate the value of Search Miners’ services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales outreach efforts.
  • Lead Nurturing: Follow up with leads who may not be ready to purchase but could be viable prospects in the future.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining sales processes, outreach strategies, and prospecting techniques to improve lead conversion rates.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the digital marketing or SEO industry.
  • Sales Skills: Experience with cold calling, email outreach, and lead qualification, with a strong ability to build rapport with potential clients.
  • Email & Lead Generation Tools: Familiarity with email outreach tools like Smartlead or similar and lead generation tools like ListKit or similar. Experience with these tools or similar platforms is a must.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and articulate the value of our services.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and other sales software (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach).
  • Goal-Oriented: Strong drive to meet and exceed performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring deadlines and sales goals are consistently met.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the sales, marketing, and leadership teams to align efforts and share insights.
  • Remote Work: Comfortable working remotely and able to follow a structured work schedule within PST hours.

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, or similar industries.
  • Experience in outbound sales or lead generation for service-based businesses.
  • Knowledge of prospecting techniques, including social selling, cold emailing, and cold calling.
